Here’s a self-introduction of Noy:
Reian Pagtolon-an (Noy for short), a graduate of NRHS batch 1995. I don't have much high school stories to share because that time I'm not so active in school activities or programs. I was elected as a class singer before even though I’m not so great when it comes to singing (voice criteria). I remembered the first time I went on stage for an intermission number as a representative of my class. I was so nervous but I managed to finish my intermission number.
I used to play basketball but the basketball doesn’t like me. This made me upset because my Uncle Honorio Pagtolon-an is my idol when it comes to basketball game.

My favorite subject is T.H.E. under Sir Jubelag. I received the Best Cadet award on graduation day because I was the Platoon Leader and my responsibility was to command and execute platoon drills during tactical inspection. And we got high points for the best execution we made!
Among NRHS teachers, my favorites are Ma’am Adia Diel, Ma’am Fe Juanitas, Ma’am Oro, Ma’am Nena Omambing and Ma’am Rose Descalso.

After graduating from high school, I stopped schooling for a year due to financial problem. During that time, I was challenged to work as a construction worker in Kidapawan new public market building. I realized that it’s hard to earn money with the kind of job that I have that time. I also experienced harvesting sugar cane and all farm-related works. This is the reason why I kept in mind that I need to study hard and get a diploma to be able to find a better job and a good salary to support the needs of my family.
Now, finally, with the help of Our Almighty God, I’m enjoying travelling the world for free! I have met various kinds of people in every place that we have docked. I’m even earning US dollar, tax free!
My motto: If there’s no sacrifice, there’s no glory.
